Thriving InSight
At Thriving InSight, we support professional women 40+ understand, manage and thrive with ADHD — without overwhelm, shame or guilt through coaching and peer support.
ADHD often looks different in women. Many spend years masking, overcompensating or feeling “not enough,” even while succeeding on the outside.
Our mission is simple:
To help leaders thrive from the inside — especially professional women with ADHD
and to create workplaces that are psychologically safe, inclusive and human.
We don’t “fix” our clients — we help you create meaningful change in a way that honours your wiring.
Meet Yvette Annand
ADHD Coach & Founder, Thriving InSight
I founded Thriving InSight to support women like me — women who have spent years being capable, competent and driven… while quietly running on empty
Like many women, my ADHD wasn’t recognised until later in life. For years I juggled a demanding career, three children, single motherhood, and (just for fun) peri-menopause — while wondering why my brain felt different and often worked against me.
In 2015, I shifted into a new chapter — studying neuroscience, positive psychology, mindfulness and self-compassion, and how they shape leadership. I trained as a coach and counsellor, working closely with leaders across different neuro-types. I also got a great coach and therapist and eventually an inattentive ADHD diagnosis.
Over time, my career focus became clear: “neurodiverse leaders,” especially professional women with ADHD, who now make up much of my practice.

Through my coaching, therapy and studies I learned three things that changed everything:
My inner critic was running the show.
My mind worked differently from most people — and that was okay.
I didn’t need fixing; I needed understanding.
Therapy helped me heal old patterns, and an eventual ADHD diagnosis made my whole life make sense.
I realised I wasn’t alone, I wasn’t broken — I was wired like many bright, curious women who had simply been misunderstood.
Why I Started Thriving InSight
Every woman deserves to feel capable, confident and free to live and lead on her own terms - working with, not against, her unique and interesting mind.
That’s the heart of Thriving InSight.
That’s why I do this work.
Square peg, round hole
For most of my 20 years in global organisations like Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Diageo, I felt like a square peg in a round hole — masking, pushing harder than everyone else, and burning out more than once. If ADHD in high-achieving women had been recognised back then, my path would have been very different.
Thriving InSight exists because so many brilliant women are still living that story.
I work with women who feel they should be coping but are exhausted from over-functioning, misunderstood at work, or simply tired of squeezing themselves into environments that don’t fit. Through coaching and peer groups, we create a safe, intelligent space to drop the mask, understand your wiring, and build ways of working and leading that feel sustainable and true.
Today I blend leadership coaching, counselling training and self-compassion work to help women reclaim energy, clarity and confidence — and lead in a way that finally feels like them. And I partner with organisations who want cultures where every mind can thrive.
