Thriving InSight
At Thriving InSight, we help professional women 40+ understand, manage, and thrive with ADHD — without overwhelm, shame, or guilt.
We know that ADHD looks different in women, especially those balancing careers, families, and personal expectations. Many have spent years masking, overcompensating, or feeling “not enough,” even while achieving so much.
Our mission is simple:
To support all leaders to thrive from the inside— especially professional women with ADHD. We are passionate about creating more and more workplaces that are psychologically safe, inclusive, and deeply human - however their minds are wired.
We offer compassionate, science-informed coaching that focuses on:
Building practical systems that actually work for your work and lifestyle
Understanding your ADHD patterns with kindness, not judgment
Strengthening emotional regulation, focus, and self-awareness
Restoring confidence and self-trust
Creating a life that feels organised, intentional, and sustainable
At Thriving InSight, we don’t believe in fixing our clients — we believe in supporting them to create meaningful change in their own unique way.
Meet Yvette Annand
ADHD Coach & Founder, Thriving InSight
And this is my ‘why’ - I founded Thriving InSight with the sole purpose of supporting and empowering professional women like you to understand and work with your ADHD mind, to harness your strengths, to build ways of leading that feel authentic, and create a life that feels meaningful and less stressful.
I believe that ADHD isn’t a limitation — it’s a different way of thinking, and with the right tools and support, it can become one of your greatest strengths.
Hi, I’m Yvette Annand, and I support professional women 40+ understand, manage, and thrive with ADHD.
For many women, myself included, ADHD isn’t something we recognise until later in life. I know what it’s like to juggle a demanding career, family, and personal responsibilities, all while feeling like your brain is, well different, and sometimes is working against you. The good news? It doesn’t have to feel that way!
For me the turning point was in 2016 when I attended an intensive retreat run by the Center for mindful self-compassion (Neff and Germer) and then continued with a Masters in mindfulness studies..
I learned that:
I was definitely not self-compassionate. I had a fierce committee of inner critics attacking my self-worth.
When I mastered the skill of observing my mind I was pretty surprised to hear that most of my class were not wired like me! I knew my mind was busy and different but now I could really observe it and the impact on myself and those around me.
I felt different and I felt shame. So I started therapy to see if I could ‘fix’ it, focussing on healing early childhood trauma.
After years of therapy and self-help books and courses, I finally got diagnosed with ADHD.
And what I learned is this:
I don’t need fixing;
My mind is wired like many interesting and curious others (and we don’t have a disorder) and;
I do belong.
Square peg, round hole
I’m not big on regrets, but I do sometimes wish ADHD had been on the radar for “successful” professional women in their 40s when I was juggling a career, three kids, single motherhood, and peri-menopause (because why not throw that in too?). I wish I could time-travel back and give that younger version of me the understanding and support she really needed.
I know what it’s like to look successful on the outside while quietly running on empty. During my 20-year international corporate career with brands like Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Diageo, I masked ADHD, pushed harder to fit in, and burned out—until a late diagnosis changed everything.
Today, as an experienced leadership and mindset coach, trained counsellor and mindful self-compassion teacher, I now focus on supporting professional women like me who either have a diagnosis or identify with the traits of ADHD.
We work to reduce the striving to fit the mould and start thriving as yourself. We work together to break free from masking and self-doubt, reclaim energy and focus, and build a stronger way of being in the workplace and in the world.
Why I started Thriving InSight
I created Thriving InSight because I saw and see so many talented, accomplished women going through what I experienced as an undiagnosed, high functioning ADHDer - taking on way too much, feeling frustrated, exhausted, and misunderstood. Women like me who had spent decades trying to “fit in” or compensate, only to feel overwhelmed, burnt-out and stuck.
I wanted to create a safe place where women could get the understanding, tools, and encouragement they need — without judgment, without overwhelm, and without trying to force a ‘system’ that doesn’t fit their life.
And I wanted to help organisations support their talented leaders - whether neuro-typical (whatever that is?) or neuro-divergent.
Every woman deserves to feel capable, confident, and free to live according to her own priorities and working with, not hiding her unique and interesting mind.
That’s what Thriving InSight exists for.
“ Every woman deserves to feel capable, confident, and free to live according to her own priorities and openly working with (not against) her unique and interesting mind. That’s what Thriving InSight exists for.”
